Community Transport Volunteer

Community transport volunteers travel extensively for us, whether around town or across the region. This is a varied role and can include supporting younger people, people with disability or older people, to make sure they can access medical care, community facilities, shopping, government agencies, or any other place that they need to get to.

We understand that being a community transport volunteer can be a big job! We will always work with you, to make sure your volunteering works for us and you. We check in and see what types of trips you'll be comfortable providing and generally limit long distance trips to once a week.

Meals on Wheels Volunteer

Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver meals to clients in Wee Waa.  Volunteers usually volunteer one day a month and work in pairs.  You can volunteer with a friend or family member, or we can match you with a volunteer.  Our meals service not only delivers a nutritious and delicious meal, the delivery also acts as a check in for vulnerable clients and often a chance for a catch up and a quick natter! 

Social Support Volunteer

Social Support volunteers work with staff to support clients at our centre and in the community.  This can include planned activities, such as Day Activities and Men's Group, or activities in the community.  Social Support volunteers may also provide one on one support for clients, in the community, or in their home.  We aim to match your skills with social support activities, for your benefit and for the benefit of the clients we support.
